Week 12 - "Wishli" MVP Unveiled

This week at Milab, our team is excited to introduce the MVP of "Wishlist" a project designed to revolutionize the way we think about and manage our shopping habits and finances.

Our MVP focuses on making budgeting and wishlisting engaging and intuitive, especially through our approach to A/B testing with personalized alerts.

The Essence of "Wishlist":

"Wishlist" is not just an app; it's a new way of engaging with your budget and desires

Our MVP has been crafted to test a crucial hypothesis: can humor and creativity transform the often mundane task of budget management into an enjoyable experience? To this end, we've devised four key scenarios to A/B test with our users: Wishlist Match & Budget-Friendly: Alerts that cheer on making the purchase, blending encouragement with a sense of achievement.

Wishlist Match but Over Budget: Creative, humorous nudges to think twice, promoting patience and smarter planning.

Off Wishlist but Budget-Friendly: Thought-provoking prompts that challenge the impulse, asking if the item truly merits deviation from the wishlist. Neither Wishlist nor Budget Aligned: Witty alerts designed to deter, highlighting the wisdom of resisting unnecessary spends.

These scenarios are integral to our A/B testing strategy, helping us refine how alerts can effectively influence spending behavior, making budgeting feel less like a constraint and more like a game.
